Everything You Need to Know About Your Industrial Training

Apply for your SIWES or IT

Dataslid Academy in Osogbo is an accredited SIWES and IT industrial training host. We accept students from institutions across Osun State and neighbouring states. You will work on real tech projects, receive proper supervision, and have your logbook signed. Apply through our website or visit our Osogbo office directly.

We have hosted students from universities and polytechnics across Southwest and North-Central Nigeria, including institutions in Osun, Oyo, Kwara, and Ekiti States. If you are from an accredited Nigerian university or polytechnic with an active SIWES or IT programme, you are eligible.

Fill the SIWES application form on our website or send us a WhatsApp message with your name, school, department, and intended start date. We confirm availability and your placement within 48 hours. Bring your school acceptance letter or ITF placement form on your first day.

We charge a training and administrative fee that covers your workspace, supervision, project work and logbook signing. The fee is set to be affordable for Nigerian students. Check our course page to see the allocated amount.

We structure your placement based on your current level. Beginners start with foundational tasks and build up. If you already have some knowledge, we place you on more advanced work. Either way, you will be doing real tasks from week one, not watching videos in a corner.

We accommodate ESI students alongside SIWES and IT placements. Contact us with your school's ESI requirements and we will structure your placement accordingly.

In person only. Our SIWES programme runs at our Osogbo office, Monday to Friday. We do not offer remote SIWES because the hands-on, supervised environment is the reason the training works.

Dataslid Softwares is an ICT SAED-accredited partner and a registered industrial training host. We operate within the framework set by the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

See our Courses

All our courses are in-person at our Osogbo office. We tried virtual training and found that students learn significantly faster in person, you can ask questions in real time, work alongside others, and get immediate feedback on your projects. If you are not in Osogbo, contact us to discuss options.

Classes run Monday to Saturday. Hours depend on the course and cohort so contact us for the current timetable. We offer morning and afternoon slots for some courses to accommodate students with other commitments.

Yes. You receive a Dataslid Academy certificate of completion. More practically, you will also have a portfolio project you built yourself — a live website, a data dashboard, a completed security assessment, or a design collection. That portfolio is what employers and clients actually want to see.

We cannot guarantee employment, what we can guarantee is that if you complete the course and do the work, you will have a real, demonstrable skill and a portfolio project. Many of our graduates have gone on to freelance, get hired, or start their own small agencies. We also share opportunities and client referrals with graduates where we can.

Yes — and this is something we have already done. Kena, one of our in-house products, is a full school management and payment platform currently used by Nigerian private schools. We can deploy a version for your school or build something custom to your requirements.

A standard business website typically takes 2–4 weeks from the time we agree on scope and you provide your content (logo, text, photos). More complex projects take longer. We give you a clear timeline in our proposal and stick to it. Delays on our end are rare.
