Graduating from Dataslid Academy does not mean going it alone. Every graduate automatically joins our WhatsApp community — an active group of former students, corps members, and working tech professionals who trained here.
The community is where job leads get shared, freelance opportunities get posted, grant windows get flagged, and former students help each other move forward. It costs nothing to be part of it. You earn your spot by completing your training.

A corps member who completed Cybersecurity training during her NYSC year and now consults for a Lagos firm. A fresh graduate who learned web development in three months and built his first client website before the course ended. Our Alumni Challenges
Finding your first client is harder than learning the skill. Pricing yourself is harder than delivering the work. Staying consistent when there is no salary coming in is the hardest part of all. We know this because our graduates tell us. The community, the job leads, the grant updates, and the freelancing guidance we provide are specifically because we understand that training is only the beginning of the journey — not the end of it.
Also, we periodically run internal challenges for our graduate community; build competitions, design sprints, and data challenges with real prizes and public recognition. These are opportunities to sharpen your skills after training, build something new for your portfolio, and compete with other graduates. Dates and briefs are announced in the WhatsApp community.
